Summer Shakespeare shenanigans
This August will mark 3 years since us Loons first decided to be a bit mad perform some Shakespeare all around Manchester, so to celebrate we've got a whole week of events planned!

Join us online for a celebrations of Shakespeare's Complete Works! We'll be posting one speech from every Shakespeare Play over the course of the week on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter! You can even join in the fun and post your own favourite speech with the hashtag #37PLAYS37SPEECHES
SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
Sat 17th August - Sackville Gardens - 12pm-3pm - FREE!
Who doesn't love a good picnic on a sunny Saturday afternoon? We're heading to Sackville Gardens on Canal Street, where we performed our fist show 'Two Gentlemen of Verona'! Bring along your lunch for an afternoon of Shakespearean entertainment, live music and maybe even a slice of cake!
CUE SCRIPT MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM
Sun 18th August - The Kings Arms, Salford - 7:30pm - Pay What You Feel
Did you know, that in Shakespeare's day, the actors never got a full script? They only got their own lines, plus the last few words of the line before it, and this was called a CUE SCRIPT. Well, we thought why not have a go? We'll be doing a one-off script-in-hand performance of Shakespeare's beloved comedy MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, where the actors only have their own lines - what could possibly go wrong?
