Re-United Through Cross-Dressing & War

A new adaptation of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline by Stephanie Cullingford

We’re excited to be working with Leeds Conservatoire Theatre Festival this July

‘Reunited through Cross-Dressing and War’ is a new adaptation of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline - using clowning, time loops and physical theatre to tell the story over different times, spaces and styles. Focusing on the relationship between Innogen and Hugh, the trials that come between them and the ways they find each other again - asking, what can you really forgive someone for?

We’re looking for 5 actors, with experience or interest in Shakespeare, clowning and multi-rolling

This performance is part of Leeds Conservatoire Theatre Festival, working with MA Dramaturg and Creatives courses

Performance Dates: 16/7/25 @ 7pm, 18/7/25 @9AM

Location: Leeds Conservatoire

Rehearsals: TBC - location in central Leeds, times and dates to be discussed with the cast (approx 3 hours per week + 2 full days w/c 7/7/25)

Fee: This is an unpaid opportunity as part of the Leeds Conservatoire Theatre Festival
